225g good-quality chocolate
¾ cup (170g) melted cannabutter or cannabis-infused cooking oil
1¼ cups (280g) sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
¾ cup (90g) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (30g) cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
- Break up chocolate into pieces. Melt half in a bain-marie and put aside the rest.
- Combine melted butter and sugar in a bowl.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
- When melted chocolate has cooled slightly, whisk it into the mixture.
- Combine sifted dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, salt) and sift.
- Add sifted dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold together with a plastic spatula. Don’t mix too thoroughly.
- Bake for approx. 20-25 minutes.
When you consume CBD alongside fatty and/or high-protein foods, the effects on your body last longer than if you eat them in a sugar form, such as with gummies or other candy. Wait at least two hours after eating a CBD edible. If you still don’t feel the effects, don’t eat another edible! Instead, eat something high in fat. This will help increase the effects.
